At Deliverance World Mission Church, our Women’s Ministry is dedicated to supporting women in every stage of life as they grow in their relationship with God, each other, and the world around them. We believe that women are vital members of God’s Kingdom, and we are committed to empowering them to fulfill their God-given purpose, both in the church and in the community.

Our Mission

The mission of the Women’s Ministry is to create a space where women can connect, grow in faith, support one another, and serve God and others with purpose. We are committed to encouraging women to embrace their unique calling in Christ, deepen their spiritual walk, and make a positive impact on their families, church, and the world.

Our Vision

Our vision is to see women flourish spiritually, emotionally, and physically through fellowship, biblical teaching, mentorship, and outreach. We believe in the power of women coming together to inspire, equip, and uplift each other while serving the broader community.

What We Do

Our Women’s Ministry is designed to meet the unique needs of women at every age and stage of life. From Bible studies to mentorship, outreach to fellowship, there are many opportunities for women to engage, grow, and serve.

1. Women’s Bible Studies

Our weekly and seasonal Bible studies are the cornerstone of our Women’s Ministry. These studies provide opportunities for women to dig deeper into God’s Word, strengthen their relationship with Christ, and grow in their faith.

  • Weekly Bible Studies: Small group studies are held throughout the week to explore scripture, share life experiences, and pray together.
  • Seasonal Bible Studies: We offer special study sessions during specific seasons, such as Advent or Lent, to help women reflect on Christ’s life and teachings.

2. Women’s Fellowship & Prayer

Fellowship is at the heart of our Women’s Ministry. Our goal is to build a community of women who support each other in prayer, encourage one another in their walk with Christ, and share the joys and challenges of life.

  • Monthly Fellowship Gatherings: Women gather monthly for a time of worship, teaching, prayer, and fellowship.
  • Prayer Circles: We hold regular prayer circles where women can lift up their personal needs and the needs of others in a supportive and safe environment.
  • Encouragement Groups: Small groups of women come together to build friendships, encourage one another, and pray for each other’s families, marriages, careers, and personal growth.

3. Women’s Retreats & Conferences

We organize annual or bi-annual retreats and conferences where women can get away, refresh, and be spiritually renewed. These events are focused on deepening women’s spiritual lives, building lasting friendships, and empowering them to step into their roles as leaders and influencers in their homes, churches, and communities.

  • Annual Women’s Retreat: A weekend getaway filled with worship, teaching, prayer, and fellowship.
  • Women’s Conferences: Special events featuring inspiring speakers, worship sessions, and breakout groups to empower women to live out their calling in Christ.

4. Mentorship & Discipleship

Mentorship plays a vital role in helping women grow spiritually and practically. Our women’s ministry pairs older, more experienced women with younger women to build lasting, meaningful relationships that foster spiritual growth, accountability, and encouragement.

  • Mentor Program: Seasoned women of faith mentor younger women, offering guidance on everything from spiritual growth to practical life issues.
  • Discipleship Groups: These groups offer one-on-one or small group discipleship to walk alongside women in their faith journey, offering support, accountability, and biblical wisdom.

5. Service & Outreach

Our Women’s Ministry is actively involved in reaching out to the local community and beyond, serving those in need, and sharing the love of Christ in tangible ways.

  • Service Projects: Women regularly participate in service projects, including food drives, clothing donations, and home visits for elderly or sick church members.
  • Global Outreach: Through partnerships with international organizations, we support women and children in need around the world, including supporting orphanages, disaster relief efforts, and women’s empowerment initiatives.

6. Special Events & Fellowship Opportunities

Throughout the year, we host a variety of special events that allow women to connect, build relationships, and serve together. These events include:

  • Ladies’ Night Out: Social events where women can relax, build friendships, and have fun in a casual environment.
  • Holiday Gatherings: Special events during Christmas, Easter, and other holidays to celebrate together and reflect on the seasons of life.
  • Crafts & Activities: Workshops and classes that allow women to grow in creativity, learn new skills, and build community.
